Snowjourn is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping Vermont military families and veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan enjoy winter. Thanks to amazing local support, we have had two fantastic winters during which military families have come to Ripton to downhill and nordic ski, skate, eat good good, and be embraced by a warm community. THIS winter, because of scheduling conflicts, there will not be a Snowjourn weekend in Ripton. Next winter (2013), however, Snowjourn will return.

Instead, this year, Snowjourn will be sending one northeastern disabled veteran to Norway for Ridderrennet 2012, the world's largest disabled ski festival 18-25 March 2012. (See the Ridderrennet tab for more information.)
